Results of IP Notice Period for
OPS 2.0 and OPF 2.0
Dear IDPF Members,
On Thursday, December
14th, 2006, the Open eBook Publication Structure (OeBPS) Working
Group voted to call for an Intermediate Notice Period as per the
IDPF Intellectual Property Rights ("IPR") Policy in conjunction with
the release of draft versions of the Open Publication Structure
(OPS) and Open Packaging Format (OPF) 2.0 specifications as IDPF
informational documents. The Intermediate Notice Period began on
January 3rd, 2007 and ended on February 19th, 2007.
Pursuant to the IDPF
IPR Policy, members were required to disclose any Essential Claims
and provide a Licensing Statement based on the OPS/OPF 2.0 draft
specifications found at:

At the conclusion of
the Intermediate Notice Period, the IDPF did not receive any
disclosures from IDPF members.
